AIGA Vote 2025 | Countdown Social Posters

Remind, Count, Vote

These Social Media Countdown Posters are a visual campaign designed to raise civic awareness and engagement through a historical lens. This poster series counts down the final days before the 2024 U.S. Election Day, with each day represented by bold typography and archival imagery tied to key milestones in the history of voting rights. From the 15th Amendment in 1870, granting Black men the right to vote, to the 19th Amendment in 1920 securing voting rights for women, each poster combines impactful text and color-rich historical backdrops. The posts gradually build anticipation toward Election Day, with each piece carrying facts, dates, and images, such as the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 and even the U.S. Constitution’s early limitations in 1789. The countdown serves as a timely reminder to vote and honors the generations of activism and legislation that have shaped the right to vote as we know it today.

Design Challege Winner

As a part of the 24-hour SCAD challenge between graphic design students to create these posts, my designs were selected to be visually perfected to be presented as a series designed for Instagram and transform history into a scrollable, shareable experience. It was developed to turn civic education into visual storytelling, making history relevant, vibrant, and accessible to younger audiences. Each post invites reflection and urgency, reminding viewers that every right we hold today was fought for. This series has been a part of the 2025 Generate Exhibition and is honored to live on AIGA Atlanta’s Instagram to this day.
